palm sunday dinner
i love spring. i love the longer days, warmer weather, tulips blooming and easter. to celebrate the passage from winter into spring and the culmination of the lenten season, we decided to start a new tradition. palm sunday dinner. and it was breakfast for palm sunday dinner followed by a photo scavenger hunt. we made pecan belgian waffles, real scrambled eggs in bacon grease, bacon, sausage and fresh strawberries to cleanse the palate when we finished. It was the perfect palm sunday dinner. great food, time with the family and time to celebrate life and all that spring has in store for us. what easter traditions does your family celebrate? pg

Our traditions have changed over the years. Moving from the southern traditions of church and family, to being in a different place each year. No matter where we are, we want to teach our children to focus on faith and the promise of the resurrection.
