i want to share some artwork that we had on display at the lower school today. children's artwork is so precious. and if they can get caught up in the moment and not worry about the end product, i, as their teacher, feel like we have nailed it. the way a child is uninhibited by mixing colors, unafraid to show emotion and truly excited about creating art is inspiring. i love seeing the movement in their brushstrokes on paper when nothing is fixed or smoothed over for perfection. i love seeing the pencil lines that they tried but couldn't erase. i would like to thank all of the children that shared their talents with family and friends today. nice job.
