thank you to my sweet husband.

we have had an eventful day and weekend. the birthday week weekend started off by celebrating on friday night. drinks on our patio and dinner downtown. maybe the last party on the patio! we got the long awaited news on friday afternoon that our house closings are official...june 27th!!!

and this was a delicious way to kick off the weekend.

saturday was em's big night as a ribbon bearer for the rome symphony debutante ball. watching her dance with her friends was a little glimpse into the future....aggghhhh!

and there was this first dance with pb to brown eyed girl. i wish i knew what they were saying...

and we got to dance to a favorite etta james song. and em made a video of us while laughing with her friends...

we took em to camp on sunday morning for 2 weeks. i was sad. she was ecstatic. i was blown away just watching her unpack, smile, and meet new friends that she will have for a long time. oh, to be eleven again...

and today we had birthday lunch with 4 generations...my grandmother, parents, wil, pb and me. that was followed by a much needed mani/pedi and we are looking forward to dinner with some great friends tonight. my heart is very full.
