our week...

we are in the throes of packing and getting ready for our yard sale on saturday morning. the week has flown by but we have gotten a lot done. here are some photos from the week...our diary of what is going on!

monday night we celebrated my birthday with some sweet friends. we had a delicious dinner and this cake...which looks like it is on fire but only had a few candles, i promise. and sadly, the only photo we took all night.

pb and i packed and packed on tuesday. our garage looks like this.

anyone that knows me, knows this type of thing usually stresses me out. but i have been amazingly calm during the dismantling of our home and am enjoying the process of getting rid of some things. we had this really yummy dinner on tuesday evening after working all day. a flat iron steak (my favorite) sliced on top of fresh greens from my mom's garden in n.c., topped with grilled corn off the cob and a homemade vinegarette that was to die for.

and one great find for the week. this top at tj maxx. our newly remodeled store is so fun to look around now. the shirt is is much cuter in person than with my iphone. so cute that i had to post it anyway.
