we have officially been in our new home for one week today. and we emptied the last box this afternoon in a celebration. it has been so much fun to unpack and rearrange things in a new place. i don't care how exhausted we have been, we have still managed to find the energy to create. i think the adrenaline rush is truly a drug. here are a few photos of some of the finds we have been waiting to unpack and use.
remember our $35.00 filing cabinet? found a spot for it today.
and we opted out on the orange entry hall and painted an old table for pb's desk instead. and he also hung this super cool metal piece for us to use as a bulletin board of sorts.
and here are some views of my desk. so excited to have one!
and finally, a proper and accessible place for all those domino magazine issues. such eye candy and great resources.
and the vintage vases i have been saving are now here.
and we found this rusted piece today for the mantle in our bedroom.
and last, this concrete table at the end of our bed. a shout out goes to thornton concrete studio. he also made our coffee table and dining room table which i will photograph soon. his work is amazing. check it out here.
have a happy weekend!
photo boy and painter girl decided to create a blog. it's about life and the things we enjoy. it's about the things we find, do, cook, read, make, grow, break, love, don't love, listen to, see, and learn. we'll take turns writing. we hope you like it. we hope you get it. check back with us often. enjoy...
