pretty in pink

we just left a lacrosse game that was a brutal beatdown. and not in our favor. but it's ok. we are all home, everyone is in one piece, it is a perfect spring evening, em is outside playing in the water with neighbors, pb is grilling burgers, and we are going to have dinner on the front porch tonight. i do love this time of year.

one of my favorite flowers started blooming today...the peony...and while we were at the lacrosse game! and i have plenty to share.

and budding artists painting with such vibrant colors today. it's kind of cool when you see your students picking up on your style of painting...

and here are my new favorite jeans from j. crew. was skeptical of the neon persimmon at first, but have loved them.

and a colorful find today. hot pink kate spade pumps for a steal. will be so cute with dark skinny jeans or a seersucker pencil skirt...
