bits and pieces

summer is officially here for us and we are more than happy...and so far, it has been more than great. lots of memories in the making. i don't have adequate words for the times we have been having, so the photos will have to do the describing. and again, if you follow either of us on instagram, you have probably seen these...

last weekend we went to see the hazlehurst clan in atlanta. we had dinner here while the kids went swimming. some of our priceless memories:

after dinner, the pool was pretty empty. we decided to make some more memories for our children and jump in the pool...with clothes on. i hope our kids will never forget that night. (the blur is me, doing a cannonball)

the next morning we made donuts for everyone.

a fun weekend was followed by an eventful week. painting, making guacamole, lots of walks downtown, friends moving in to new homes, em hopefully learning to ski this weekend, buying some boiled peanuts today, and loving that the high in rome was 80 degrees!

and a fire outside tonight because the weather is so great.
